The semicolon holds quite a social journey;
The Semicolon portraits many meanings, ultimately, it is were the writer could of ended the sentence but instead chose not too;
Amy Bleuel from Wisconsin started the social movement of the semicolon in a tattoo manner saying it is ‘presenting love and hope to those who are struggling with depression, suicide, addiction and self injury’
Many use the semi colon as a guide of hope, getting the semi colon tattooed on them so they can relate to hope quickly
SAPUK launched The UK Semi-colon Tattoo Project in 2019, this sees tattoo studios across the world on the 5th April doing semi colon tattoos for £15 or more, location dependent. Since 2019 SAPUK has successfully ran this project on or around 5th April;
As the semicolon means so much to so many we have had some semi colons designed and placed them on some eco-friendly apparel, we want to use the semi colon in another nature, show people it is okay and is going to be okay – all profits will go to SAPUK to continue their services effectively;
